Publication Checklist
If your article has been accepted for publication, congratulations! Please complete the following checklist so that it can be published as soon as possible.
-
Manuscripts must be submitted either as a Microsoft Word (docx) file, or as a plain-text Markdown file.
-
Make sure you have included a byline for each author, in italics, at the end of the article.
-
Article titles are subject to revision by the editor to conform with the style and space requirements of the website.
-
Citations should be inline hyperlinks within the document (in Microsoft Word, select the text to be linked and press Ctrl-K or Cmd-K on Windows or Mac computers, respectively). Do not use footnotes, Bluebook citations, or a bibliography. It is not necessary to provide a link or citation for cases found in the Open Source Property textbook, but if you would like to do so, please cite to either Google Scholar or another freely accessible online case law service.
-
Select a cover graphic for your article from Wikimedia Commons. Send the URL for the image, not a copy of the image itself.
-
Review the terms for the website. In particular, you must agree to license your content under the Creative Commons license for this website.
-
Send the manuscript file, image URL, and confirmation of the copyright license (state “I am/we are willing to publish under the website’s copyright license” or something to that effect) by email to the editor of this website.
Thank you for your interest in publishing with us!
